Week 4 of our little pilot youth club project we are tweaking things each week. We’ve learnt the target age group of the kids, the time to start/finish, positive activities, likes/dislikes, grouping considerations, health/safety concerns, volunteer training needs and much more.

The truck parade went down very well, some big loud rigs!!! The community BBQ activity helps kids follow the rules and develop structure around eating. The older kids helped prep all the food again today. Oh and a few games/play activities too.

We’ve bagged a new volunteer. I can’t thank the parents, grandparents and carers that all pitch in to help us run our little group without your help this activity could not continue.
